October 24, 2005

Stuart Buck, Joanne Jacobs, and Eduwonk guestblogger Michael Goldstein are all commenting on Jonathan Kozol (author of Savage Inequalities, The Shame of the Nation, and this recent Harper’s magazine article, among other writings). The main issue they take with his work is his clear penchant for cherry-picking cases to make his funding inequality argument, a method that doesn’t hold up under any sort of scrutiny. The three bloggers’ posts make for very interesting reading.
