Foreign Dispatches follows up on the story about the Danish media that published cartoons poking fun at Islam or Mohammed. The Danes have refused to give in to the demands of the Muslim community, and are holding firm to the idea that freedom of expression isn’t just for those that hate Jews and Christians.
Carsten Juste, the editor of Jyllands-Posten, spurned demands that he apologise, saying he "would not dream" of saying sorry.
"To demand that we take religious feelings into consideration is irreconcilable with western democracy and freedom of expression," he said.
